Evaluative Measures
There are different ways to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and one of these is something called KPI which stands for Key Performance Indicator (Edgecomb, 2022). KPI is where a value will be measured to see how a company will be achieving key business objectives. One marketing KPI is Marketing revenue attribution this is where you can use this to track and evaluate your marketing strategy for example social media. Another marketing KPI is Social Media traffic and conversion rates which is where the data can show how important social media can be in terms of the percentage of traffic that is on the associated social media channels having this for social media is useful as you can see how well your content is doing on your chosen social media platform and how well your brand is doing. Another example of marketing KPI is Digital Marketing ROI which is where it is important to calculate your digital marketing return on investment to assess the monthly and annual performance, which will help to plan for budgets and strategies.
